My approach to graphic design is empathetic and people-centered.
Three different households shape my life experiences. I spoke different languages, literally and figuratively, depending on which freeway exits I took on a given weekend. I switched between English and Spanish, communicated between older and younger generations, and understood the financial differences among the areas I frequented. I’ve come to realize that my approach to graphic design is empathetic and people-centered, shaped by learning to express myself in ways that others could understand.
I bring this knowledge to my role as a graphic designer, immersing myself in the narratives and identities at the heart of each project I work on. I learn each one fluently, seeking the clearest ways to translate their ideas. Just as I once moved between different worlds, my design practice creates spaces for others to meet and connect across theirs.
